Class Dates: This class meets four times from 5:30pm to 8:30pm on the following dates:
Advanced Ecology dives deeper into the interactions within ecosystems, focusing on topics such as species interactions, population dynamics, and community structure. The course analyzes ecological theories and models, exploring ecological resilience, landscape ecology, and the effects of environmental change on ecosystem stability. The impacts of human activity on biodiversity, including climate change and species selection, will be examined, while exploring strategies for ecosystem restoration and conservation in the face of ongoing environmental challenges. The course will meet 4 times for 3 hours each.

* Parking: This class takes place on campus at UNC Charlotte. Parking at UNC Charlotte is monitored on weekdays, so for our weekday classes, we recommend parking in our visitor decks for a fee. If you park in an open lot through the week you will receive a fine of $85 from the university. We do have very limited free parking spots in front of the Greenhouse, but those fill up quickly. Parking at UNC Charlotte is free on Saturday and Sunday.
