The Basics of Climate Change

Class Dates:  This class meets in person five times from 5:30pm to 7:30pm on the following dates:

The Basics of Climate Change: The Science, The Evidence, The Impacts, The Adaptations
In this class, you will learn the basic science behind the changes in climate.  You will be introduced to evidence of the changing climate from various places around the globe.  You will come to understand the myriad ways that the changing climate is affecting flora, fauna, and humanity worldwide.  We will also discuss the ways that people and nature respond and adapt to the challenges faced.  There will be readings for you to peruse between class meetings, then information from the readings and connected concepts will be discussed during the class meetings.

Location: UNC Charlotte Main Campus - McEniry 123 (beside the greenhouse)

Cost: $149.00

Parking: Parking is FREE for you by attending class. Make sure to pick up your parking tickets on the first day of class!
During the week you must park in our visitor decks. Park in East Deck #1. 

If you park in an open lot through the week you will receive a fine of $85 from the university. We do have very limited free parking spots in front of the Greenhouse, but those fill up quickly.
