Date/Time: Wednesday, November 19, 2025 from 5:30pm-7:30pm Class Description: Allow your imagination to soar as you create a one-of-a-kind tote bag. Meander through some enticing and beautiful fabrics, fussy-cut your favorite images and shapes, then piece them together to create a whimsical fall fabric collage. You will learn how to create something cohesive, colorful and bright, playful and magical. This workshop is perfect for any skill level. All materials will be provided. Instructor Bio: Amanda Bohmont is an art educator based in Harrisburg, NC, with over 22 years of teaching experience. Amanda strives to inspire others in finding joy, freedom and their inner voice through her curated art classes splanning a wide range of mediums. Vibrant colors and organic patterns, inspired by nature, are seen in her own pottery and fiber artworks. When not in the studio, creating or teaching, you can find Amanda outdoors exploring with her young children and tending to her farmstead. Location: McMillan Greenhouse Classroom (9090 Craver Road, Charlotte, NC 28223) Parking: Please note that UNC Charlotte does require a valid parking permit to park on campus Monday-Friday. If you do not hold a permit, we recommend that you park in a visitor deck. These decks currently cost $5 for the first hour, and $2 for each additional hour. There is a $15 a day maximum charge.
