Class Dates: This class meets once on January 24th
Winter Tree Identification focuses on learning skills to identify native trees through close observation of buds, fruits, scars, and bark. This class will touch on structure, key identification features, and the use of field guides and other resources. By the end of the course, students will have a new world to explore, with skills to identify trees without leaves. This class requires active hands-on participation and walking in the gardens."
