Class Dates: This class meets in person three times on the following dates:
Basic Botany will provide an in-depth look at the traits and characteristics of members of the plant kingdom, including plant structure and function, life stages, populations and ecotypes, flowers, and plant reproduction. This course will give students the foundation, working vocabulary, and understanding necessary for the remaining CNPS courses. This course stresses active participation.

Cost: $149.00
Parking: During the week you must park in our visitor decks. Park in East Deck #1. Parking is free on the weekends - we still recommend parking in East Deck #1. If you park in an open lot through the week you will receive a fine of $85 from the university. We do have very limited free parking spots in front of the Greenhouse, but those fill up quickly.
